Il Castello Herrnau si trova a pochi chilometri a sud di Salisburgo in un grande parco. E’ un castello di campagna tipico della zona, disposto su tre piani e con un ampio tetto a lanterna. Sulla facciata della torre principale si può ammirare lo stemma in marmo di Christani von Rall, proprietario dell’edificio che nel 1741 apportò molte modifiche alla struttura e donò al castello l’aspetto attuale.
