I lavori per la costruzione della Cattedrale della Santissima Trinità iniziarono nel 1908 e la sua consacrazione avvenne nel 1911. La chiesa è in stile romano ed è sede dell’arcivescovo metropolitano. Nel 1993 Papa Giovanni Paolo II si recò in visita a questa cattedrale, durante il suo viaggio sull’isola.
