La chiesa di Toringo è dedicata a S.Pietro ed è menzionata già a partire dall’anno 793. Nell’Estimo del 1260 risulta dipendente dalla Pieve di S.Paolo. La costruzione attuale è a navata unica ed è stata edificata nel 1832 e restaurata dopo la fine della seconda guerra mondiale. Il campanile attuale è del 1938 e sostituisce quello settecentesco.
