La Grande Armeria fa parte del complesso della Fortezza di Hohensalzburg. Fu costruita nel 1559 ed era l’unico arsenale, solo successivamente ne fu costruito uno più piccolo. Nel 2018 la struttura subì danni a causa di un forte temporale. Nel 2019 qui è prevista l’apertura di un museo dedicato alle armi e armature.
