Il Monastero Kaisariani sorge in cima al monte Imetto, poco fuori Atene, ed è stato costruito nel XI secolo. Forse prima di esso qui sorgeva un santuario dedicato alla dea Afrodite, di cui però non restano tracce. Nonostante il Monastero sia ancora abitato è aperto al pubblico ed è possibile ammirare i meravigliosi affreschi risalenti al XVI secolo.
