Il fiume Rio Grande ha origine nel cuore della Parrocchia di Portland in due rami separati, che poi si uniscono ed insieme confluiscono verso il mare dei Caraibi immettendosi poco più a ovest rispetto alla città di Port Antonio. Si tratta di uno dei più grandi fiumi della Giamaica e fu chiamato cosi dagli spagnoli quando l’isola era una loro colonia. Lungo questo fiume è possibile fare rafting.
