E’ il più antico tempio indù in città. Costruito nel 1827, originariamente il tempio era piccolo e semplice, interamente costruito in legno. Con il trascorrere degli anni numerosi ristrutturazioni lo hanno portato all’aspetto attuale. In particolare la torre di ingresso (detta Gopuram) è stata costruita nel 1903 facendo diventare tutto il complesso un’icona di Chinatown. Il santuario principale è dedicata a Mariamman (dea della pioggia) mentre i più piccoli a Rama e Murugan.
