Nel 2015 nel centro di Downtown LA apre il The Broad: un museo di arte contemporanea che prende nome dal filantropo Eli Broad che lo ha finanziato. Nel museo si trovano esposizioni permanenti e collezioni a rotazione che offrono una panoramica sull’arte contemporanea internazionale. L’entrata generale è gratis e per alcune esposizioni ci vogliono prenotazione e pagamento anticipato. Non è insolito vedere lunghe file di visitatori attendere fuori dal museo per ore e ore.
